UtahHiking.com is a free resource for Utah hiking enthusiasts.  Anyone can register, add new trails, rate and comment about trails, and share your Utah hiking experiences.

Almost 10 years ago, hiking fanatic Amy wanted to find an efficient and easy way to get hiking information on trails throughout this pretty great state of Utah. In her quest of searching for resources, she found that trail information was very lacking.  She took her first steps in creating a static website with trail information but found the amount of time devoted to finding and posting this information to be overwhelming.  Additionally, she had to attend to her work and home life, and, although, she would love to hike all day, there was never the time.  For awhile, HikingUtah.com became woefully neglected and stagnant.

The Rebirth of UtahHiking.com
Amy met Brennan in Spring of 2010 and found that the best way to balance the resources involved was to create this open community site where all could share in the Hiking Utah love.  Amy and Brennan worked collaboratively to create HikingUtah.com 2.0 in the hopes that other’s would appreciate and share valuable information about Utah trails, make new friends, and become better, safer hikers.
